there are three sorts of links used on this web site, (Email | Download | Page)you can identify each of them by holding your mouse over the link until it brings up a tool tip which will specify what sort of link it is.
Description of link types
- Email - this link is a link to email someone, when clicked it will open your computers default email client and with the email address already inserted.If you do not have a email client set up or use a web based email service such as"Hotmail" or "Yahoo Mail" then you can simply copy the email address down for later use.
- Page - this simply navigates your browser to a new page, you can hold your mouse over the link to receive information on the page it links to.
- Download - this sort of link points to a file that you can download to your computer, whether it be a zip file containing pictures or the latest version of Internet Explorer when you click on these links you will get the "file download"dialogue box which gives you the option of opening or saving the file. If you want to just look at the file once the click open but if you want to save the file so that you can use it at a later date then click save as and save it in a folder that you will remember
